NY Licenses for Illegals withers under bright light |

New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer's plan to issue driver's licenses to illegal immigrants has brought too much publicity for him to continue with the plan.
Prior to Hillary's non-answer to a debate question, the plan was flying conveniently under the radar.
Now, with nationwide awareness of the plan and its implications for fraudulent voting and leveraging into other forms of identification, New York is dropping the plan. Without Hillary's flubbed response to the initial question of whether she supported her governor's plan, it seemed like a sure bet for success.
A sure sign that something is wrong in government is when publicity alone is sufficient to completely destroy an accepted initiative.
