Responding to criticism of his wife's health care initiative, former President and future First Laddy Bill Clinton took Hillary's share of the blame for the failure.
“She has taken the rap for some of the problems we had with health care the last time that were far more my fault than hers.” said Mr. Clinton. He went on to elaborately describe none of the embarrassing details of his role in the torpedoing of HillaryCare.
While we don't know why Bill allowed Hillary to suffer the smoldering criticism for over a decade before stepping up and admitting blame, we say, "better late than never".
As for Barack Obama's complaint that she can't campaign on the experience of drafting the proposal without also taking the blame for its failure, we can't help but wonder if he would be so judgmental if Hillary were a man.
Shame on you, Barack Obama!
